Accounting technology and bookkeeping programs prepare people to work with accountants and others who manage financial records.Accounting technology programs include instruction in:

Schools
Many career and technical schools offer one- and two-year certificate and associate degrees in accounting technology and bookkeeping. A certificate usually takes a year of full-time study. An associate degree program at a community college usually takes two years to complete.
