Summary

Experimental TIG weld of type 6061 aluminium plate 4mm thick, 200 peak amperes AC (65% electrode negative, 10 pulses/second at 50% pulse duty cycle, 5 amperes maintenance current between pulses), welded under argon gas with filler rod, showing weld bead, characteristic AC TIG etch, and unaffected metal surface.
