Modeling
Overview
Modeling programs prepare people to wear and display clothes or other products in fashion shows and advertisements.Modeling programs include topics such as:
- Modeling skills, including how to move, walk, and pose to show off fashions
- Props and cosmetics
- Fashion show management
- Health and cosmetic principles
- Basics of advertising and fashion photography
Portfolio
Students in modeling programs will focus on developing their portfolio. Portfolios show your skills and modeling ability.
Schools
Training is available in private modeling schools. The programs typically last from a few weeks to a few months. Each course ends with a photo shoot that gives the student some sample photos for their modeling portfolio.
