Scientific Research
There are thousands of studies showing the benefits of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs. University of Massachusetts Medical Center has put together a short video on MBSR research as well as a 2-page research summary of medical and psychological benefits of MBSR. The 2-page summary is a little dated, but the 2017 book, Altered Traits, by Daniel Goleman and Richard Davidson, provides a terrific overview of the research to date, indicating both its promise and limitations.
Below are some websites that are constantly updated to show current research, as well as a very, very limited selection of clinical studies.
