The Circle of Willis
Schematic representation of the circle of Willis--arteries of the brain and brain stem. Blood flows up to the brain through the vertebral arteries and through the internal carotid arteries.
This diagram of the circle of Willis indicates the anterior and posterior communicating arteries, anterior, and middle cerebral arteries, ophthalmic artery, anterior choroidal artery, posterior cerebral artery, superior cerebellar artery, basilar artery, anterior and posterior inferior cerebellar artery, anterior spinal artery, pontine arteries, posterior communicating artery, and interior carotid artery.
