Description Hemagglutinin. A simplified model of influenza virus surface glycoprotein hemagglutinin. This model was constructed using 3D molecular graphics software. For simplicity, protein sidechains not shown. Protein backbone shown in blue. Heterogens are represented by spacefill. All sequence data necessary for construction are freely available in open access fashion at the National Centre for Biotechnology Information, an agency of the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
