File:The Window; or, The Songs of the Wrens - Cover.jpg

Description Embossed cover to the 1871 edition "The Window; or, the Songs of the Wrens" by Sir Arthur Sullivan and Alfred, Lord Tennyson. The subtitle used on it, "The Loves of the Wrens" appears to be in error, as "The Songs of the Wrens" is within the volume, and is how the work is generally known.

Note: I own Raymond's fascimile edition, but contacted him to avoid the photocopy-of-a-photocopy effect. He very kindly provided the image uploaded here, without placing restrictions on it. The cover itself is, of course, in the public domain. Contact me if further information is needed. Adam Cuerden 16:01, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
