Summary

A Yokozuna blessing the ring at prior to the beginning of the matches.

Yokozuna Asashōryū performing the dohyō-iri (ring-entering ceremony), accompanied by Tōki as sword-bearer (top right) and Asasekiryū as dew-sweeper (bottom right). Kokonoe-oyakata (former Yokozuna Chiyonofuji) can be seen in the background (centre front seat, wearing a kimono).
