Description
Deutsch: Das alte Wappen des Kantons Unterwalden, Schweiz. Es ist eine Verbindung der Wappen der Halbkantone Ob- und Nidwalden, verwendet im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert. Zuvor war das Kantonswappen das gleiche wie das des Kantons Solothurn, der horizontal in weiss und rot geteilte Schild.
English: Former coat of arms of the canton of Unterwalden, Switzerland. It was used during the 17th and 18th century. Earlier Unterwalden used the same coat of arms as the canton of Solothurn
