• Italiano: Il leone collocato a sinistra dell'ingresso monumenale dell' Arsenale di Venezia è una scultura greca, proveniente dal Pireo di Atene. Fu portato a Venezia come preda di guerra da Francesco Morosini, che conquistò il Peloponneso.
• English: The lion standing at the left side of the monumental entrance of the Arsenale in Venice is an Ancient Greek sculpture, originally at the Piraeus in Athens, brought to Venice by Francesco Morosini, who conquered the Peloponnesus.
