Description
Deutsch: "Die Proklamation des Deutschen Kaiserreiches", Fertigstellung am 22. März 1877 zum 80. Geburtstag Kaiser Wilhelms I. Gemälde von Anton von Werner in offiziellem Auftrag erstellt. Das Gemälde befindet sich im Bismarck-Museum (Friedrichsruh). Dargestellt ist die Proklamation Wilhelms I. am 18. Januar 1871 zum Deutschen Kaiser im Spiegelsaal von Versailles. Bismarcks weiße Kleidung entspricht nicht der Realität, soll aber seine Position herausheben.
