This is a replica of an oracle turtle shell with ancient Chinese en:oracle scripts inscribed on it. Since this is a replica, the colour may not be truthful to the real specimen.

This photo was taken in July 2004 from an exhibit at Chabot Space and Science Centre in Oakland, California.
