Description |
Not the most exciting of images but this is a new visitor to my front garden - it is actually one of a pair of woodpigeon that always visit together, but I could not get them both into the shot! Rural woodpigeon, unlike urban pigeons, are incredibly timid as a result of being considered pests. There numbers have increased rapidly in the UK in recent years alongside the increase in growth of oilseed rape. |
