Article 6
Official Works

(1) Official works shall not benefit from protection.

(2) Official works are in particular the texts of treaties, laws and regulations and those of reports or decisions by authorities of any kind, and translations thereof.

(3) Where the texts referred to in the preceding paragraph incorporate protected works, these may be used by public services within their area of concern without the author’s consent and without any right being thereby conferred on him.
