The “Blue Peter” special-paint British Airways Boeing 757-200 (G-CPEM), landing at London Heathrow Airport.
Blue Peter is a popular BBC1 children’s TV programme. The special paint scheme originates from a “paint a plane” competition, with the help of British Airways. The winner was Hollie Goodwin, aged eight, from Kent (England), whose design was one of more than 25,000 entries. The design was painted on the aircraft in March 2005. The aircraft, which was due to be re-painted, carries the normal BA colour scheme as well.
Photographed by Adrian Pingstone in November 2005 and released to the public domain.
