Español: Un hoplita griego ataca con su espada a un infante persa. Fija su punto de apoyo en la pierna derecha En la vestimenta de éste último pueden apreciarse las franjas zigzagueantes que lleva en la casaca ceñida con manchas, ajustada con una hebilla y cubierta por una coraza. Lleva también un gorro con orejeras colgantes y va armado con arco y makhaira. Kílix del siglo V a. C., conocido como Copa de Edimburgo 187.213, del Pintor de Triptólemo; circa 480 a. C. Museo Arqueológico Nacional de Atenas.
