Nach dem Zusammenbruch des Warschauer Aufstanden. Aus zerfallenen Kellern und feuchten Kanalisationsschächten kriechen die halbverhungerten, von Moskau und London im Stich gelassenen Aufständischen heraus und wandern in die Gefangenschaft.
