Summary
Description |
A panoramic view of Cardiff City Hall (left) and the National Museum and Gallery of Wales (right). City Hall is fronted by a large grassy area which is popular with students on sunny spring and summer afternoons, while the Museum faces onto Gorsedd Gardens which is colourfully planted with tulips. This area makes up the southern end of Cathays Park, which comprises two other gardens, Alexandra Gardens and Friary Gardens. Cathays Park is also home to Cardiff Crown Court, several of the major Cardiff University buildings, the central administrative departments of the National Assembly Government and the central police station, all of which lie to the north of City Hall. |
