The school offers students a personalized experience through small class sizes and multiple training programs. All students start by studying Pilates at the basic level, focusing on the fundamental principles that distinguish Pilates from other disciplines. Students learn to apply each principle correctly to produce the most efficient use of each muscle and maximize the benefits of each exercise.
The curriculum integrates the original work of Joseph H. Pilates with adaptive applications of current physical research.
Students receive continual, in-depth training on Pilates equipment including the Pilates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, and Wunda Chair and props such as Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Ped-O-Pull, foam rollers, and magic circles. The program includes an introduction to anatomy, postural analysis, and pathology as they relate to Pilates.
