The committee offers three, four and a half-year apprenticeship programs and one, three-year apprenticeship program. Students complete 90 percent of their apprenticeship through on-the-job training and ten percent in related classroom instruction at the committee's training centers.

Other admissions information
Apprenticeship applicants must have a valid driver's license, social security card, proof of auto insurance, and be 18 years of age or older. They also must be physically able to do the work of the trade and pass a pre-employment drug test. Transfer students from other sheet metal apprenticeship programs are accepted on an individual basis and their training records are subject to review and acceptance by the committee.
