Additional information

The school operates on a monthly basis and includes 40 hours of class time and 57 hours of clinical experience. Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend sessions are available. Upon completion of the program, the student receives a certificate and is prepared to take the state competency test to become a certified nursing assistant. The nursing assistant program includes courses in HIV/AIDS and CPR.

Program costs

Tuition is $815 for the Nursing Assistant program, of which $80 is a class deposit/registration fee. The tuition includes all of the supplies the students will use at the school (i.e. gloves, linens, towels, etc,) Students must purchase their own uniform and gait belt at approximately $50 to $100 for the off site clinical experience; cost depends on personal preference.
Student must also provide documentation that they are free of active Tuberculosis.

Application fee $80
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and be able to read, write, and understand English. They must also complete a background inquiry form, TB test, and have no back problems that would keep them from safely lifting at least 40 pounds.
