The Building Trades Plumbers and Steam Fitters HVAC program is five years (10,000 hours) in length and the Residential Plumber is three years (6,000 hours). The school year runs from September through the end of May. Classes are held two nights each week; three and a half hours per night. On-the-job training takes place during the day. The apprentices are dispatched to a signatory contractor to work. Apprentices are evaluated on job performance every six months and on class grades each month.
