The apprenticeships are four- to five-year programs. School classes run from the first of September to the end of April. Classes are held two nights each week; three hours per night. On-the-job training takes place during the day. The apprentice is dispatched to a signatory contractor to work. The apprentice is evaluated on job performance.

Tuition is not applicable for apprenticeship programs. Applicants must pay for entrance exam and drug test.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license. They must also have successfully completed one year of algebra and one year of plane geometry.
