The two-week (48-hour Class B/School Bus license) to four-week classes (160-hour Class A license) are comprised of classroom instruction, video instruction, and driving practice using a commercial vehicle. Most of the driving practice is one instructor for every two students. The school also offers a course to provide extra driving practice for existing commercial drivers. In the four-week course, each student will have the opportunity to drive a tractor and two trailers, a tractor and a refrigerated trailer, a loaded trailer, and a 45-foot drop deck trailer. All courses are offered in English or Spanish. New classes start every week throughout the year and are offered days and evenings. Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and an eight-hour air brake card. A forklift certification class is also offered.

Program costs
Tuition is $4,390 for the four-week Class A license course. Tuition is $3,770 for the Class B with Passenger/School Bus license course. Not included in tuition are DOT drug test and physical and Department of Licensing fees. Tuition for the Forklift Classes are $400 for a 14-hour course. The certificate is valid for three years.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. They also must have a valid Washington or Oregon State driver's license, proof of permanent residency in the United States , and pass ATB test.

Applicants without a high school diploma or a GED from an English speaking school will be required to complete the ATB (Ability to Benefit) test.
