Costs

Program costs

Tuition is $17,997.24 for the Cosmetology program (1,600 hours), $12,159.51 for the Barbering program (1,000 hours), and $21,010.44 for the Master Esthetics program (1,250 hours). Tuition is $2,977.21for the 600-hour Instructor Training program and $11,137.07 for the Massage program, Hair Design program tuition is $14,357.24 (1450 hours) Tuition includes the cost for the kit fee (equipment, books, and supplies) for each program. There also is a $100 registration fee for each program.

Other admissions information

Applicants must be 16 years of age before the start date of a program of study and provide a valid photo ID and social security card. Applicants for the Instructor Training program must have a current Washington State Cosmetology, Barber, Manicurist, or Esthetician license and have two years of experience. Transfer students with less than 500 hours may be accepted after an evaluation of skills and knowledge.

Students must successfully complete their program of study. They are then prepared to take the state-approved examinations to become licensed to work in Washington.
