Recognized as an approved college of acupuncture and Oriental medicine by the Washington State Department of Health and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Emphasis is placed on clinical study. The three-year course uses an apprenticeship model of learning combined with lab and classroom time. Courses on Chinese language, thought, and culture give the student knowledge about the philosophy of oriental medicine. Students spend time in small groups working with practitioners in clinical settings. At least once during study, students are required to provide treatment in a public health setting.

Tuition cited above is for the first year for the Master of Acupuncture degree. Tuition for the second and third years is $16,400 each. Annual tuition for the three-year Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine is $24,900 for each of the three years. Books and supplies for the entire program are estimated to be $2,500. Admission requirements
An interview is required. Applicants must also have three years college study at the baccalaureate level with minimum 3.0 GPA (90-semester/135-quarter credits); one college-level course each in General Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology (no labs required); two-course sequence (minimum 120 hours) in Anatomy and Physiology with a lab component for both courses; and current Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification.
