Counseling and Human Services

Overview

Programs in the counseling and human services cluster prepare students for careers in the helping professions.

In this cluster students can study a particular type of counseling such as genetic, rehabilitation, or addictions counseling or they can opt for a more inclusive mental health counseling program.

Students interested in working with families can select from programs such as marriage and family counseling, gerontology, human services, and social work.

Many programs in counseling are offered at the graduate level.
