Summary of Learnings
       First of all, I want to thank you for the gift of this course. I’m thankful for the opportunity of learning, this kind of learning linked with the personal commitment. Now, I feel that I have achieved a deep personal goal, to be awake and listen to myself (body, mind, emotions) and the people around me. But this goal won’t have an end, every day is a challenge, my challenge. I feel that I invest my time, now I am the owner of my time and energy because I learned how to cultivate my attention, intention and attitude! Thanks!!! I will recommend this extraordinary course to all the people that I meet, such a great gift for life!

      Summarizing my learning:

      I’m getting out of the circle of doing/ reacting. I feel like I can turn off this harmful circle and now I discover my dimension of being aware. I actually enjoy my days more. I've noticed that I have “more time” but it’s the same time as always, the difference is that I am awake, I can live every day, with the lights and shadows of them, open to the learning and joy.

      I defined myself for being self-demanding, perfectionist. Now, day by day I soften and soothe this need of control and allow me to be the best I can, with the resources that I have and enjoy the moment. I noticed that I’m not what I do or have. I want to be myself, with my lights and shadows, enjoying my being! And in this line of thought, I realized that I was demanding/ perfectionist in relation with my husband, my closest friends and my brothers. The course helped me to develop my self-compassion and it helps me a lot to feel compassion for my husband, friends, and brothers. So, now I feel like my backpack is lightweight, not so heavy like before, now I understand more and flow with them, I will not try to change them and this attitude brings me peace.

      With the mindful eating and the mindful yoga practices I discovered my potential to nourish my body. I feel that every time that I eat or do yoga, I’m developing my commitment to myself (my being). When I feel this balance I realize that I’m with a more open attitude, more connected with my essence.

      The sitting meditation helped me to manage the temperature discomfort of summer. The heat overwhelms me and I decided to change the label of “discomfort heat” for a new one “different temperature”. Focus my attention and intention on my breathing helped me to manage the heat and now this situation won’t get out my entire energy. I’m not blocked anymore about this circumstances, I can handle it because now I’m aware that I have tools!

      With the 8 weeks practices I cultivated a new habit, and this habit have the power to adapt to my life. I’m flexible and committed with my awareness habit, I don’t need to schedule it, is not a task, is a part of me, like brushing my teeth. Thank you very much for this powerful experience that changes my world!!!
